The Lodge

The new cabin is something quite different and just a little bit special. I have tried to create a private and secluded haven that is not only natural, environmentally and ecologically friendly but is still totally luxurious and extremely comfortable.  A place that is as good for the body as it is for the mind, a place to relax and unwind knowing that everything that could realistically be done to minimise the impact to the land and planet have been though of.    The research for products that are both exquisitely designed and manufactured, of all natural elements, is an on going pleasure.  The water, for the en-suite bathroom, is all supplied from a natural spring that comes direct from the foothills of Quinag, the majestic mountain that dominates the skyline behind the Lodge.  It is pure and clear with the occasional hint of peat. The bathroom has a two meter Villeroy & Boch bath that’s just perfect for two! power shower, wonderful Marmolium flooring which is made from Linseeds, Farrow and Ball paints and purely sensual modal towels, which are a blend of Beachwood and natural cotton, thick Christy modal dressing gowns and a selection of organic bathroom products.
The main room is large and airy with beautiful honey gold beams, pale walls and an ultra comfortable king-size bed.  There is a small fire and electric blanket for the old chilly night, flat screen satellite television, DVD, radio and CD player.

The log cabin is set up high on a small hillock, just to the left of the house and has magnificent views over the trees, gardens and Leiter Easaich.  A really pretty loch, great for fishing or for whiling a way a few hours in just relaxing in one of the two boats.  There is also a  fantastic  all-abilities path that snakes around part of the shore line.

Other Rooms: The Rose Room | The Lilac Room | The Blue Room
