Another wonderful place to spend an hour or more is Achins Bookshop in Inverkirkaig, just outside Lochinver. They have a vast collection of local books, cards and paintings by local artist. They also have a cosy café that serves lovely soup, sandwiches and snacks. Contact details are : +44 (0)157-1844262.
