Dining In & Around Ruddyglow Park
"Pot Luck" suppers are available occasionally in the off season when everywhere else is closed however if you would like to eat in please do ask.
Assynt is gaining a reputation for being a "foodie" destination as we have some outstanding pubs, cafés and restaurants all just a short drive from Ruddyglow Park. I am happy to make any reservations you would like and there is a local taxi that can also be booked if required.
Chez Roux, Lochinver, Assynt
Our favourite place for dinner - the food is outstanding, the views spectacular and the service second to none. What more could anyone want?
The Kylesku Hotel, Kylesku, Assynt
Is just a 20 minute drive from Ruddyglow Park. Set on the edges of Loch Glendhu the bar and restaurant offer beautiful views to the sea and mountains beyond. The bar is a great place for a casual dinner while the restaurant offers a slightly more formal atmosphere. Reservations are not needed for the bar but are advisable for the restaurant.
A brand new lovely bright and airy restaurant near the harbour. Friendly staff, great food and great value. Well worth a visit or two.
The Albannach, Lochinver, Assynt
Not many people expect to find a Michelin Restaurant in Lochinver and anyone who hasn't been wants to go. Reservations essential especially over the summer months.
Caberfeidh Bar and Restaurant, Lochinver, Assynt
This small restaurant and bar was taken over earlier this year by the owners of the Albannach restaurant. Offers a tapas style menu with superb views of the river.
Lochinver Larder, Assynt
For something less formal, the Lochinver Larder offers a great choice of foods, the most notable being their famous Pies. Situated on the bank of the river, just as you enter Lochinver the restaurant has lovely views looking out onto the bay. The conservatory at the front exudes a continental feel on long summer days.
