The Shepherds Cottage
Our lovely traditional stone built cottage dates back to the early 1800’s and is the perfect place to relax and unwind with your family and friends. Set in its own garden with spectacular views of Loch Assynt to the front and Quinag to the rear you can gaze out over the clear blue waters and the magnificent heather clad mountains. It’s not unusual to wake up to the sight of red deer in the garden and or the badger wandering back up to Ruddyglow Park. Venture down to the shore you may even see the odd otter.
Nearby are some of the most beautiful white sandy beaches in the country, awe inspiring views appear around every bend but most of all it is the feeling of space and being surrounded by nature that makes this such a fantastic place to visit, again and again.
The cottage is beautifully furnished with a small but fully fitted kitchen, a gas hob and oven and microwave, refrigerator, freezer and separate utility room that has a washing machine and tumble dryer. The main sitting room has Sky satellite television DVD player, video, CD/radio/mp3 player and clock radio. The cottage has full electric storage heating and double glazing. There is a large bathroom with big bath and overhead power shower and lots of lovely bath and shower products.
The main bedroom is large and bright with the original tongue and groove panelling on the vaulted ceiling. It has a king-size bed and plenty of storage. The other downstairs bedroom can be made up as either a super king or a twin, also has the original tongue and groove walls but has the added advantage of having a real log fire.
There is also a small upstairs bedroom with lovely elevated views and a double bed.
