Ruddyglow Park was a wonderful place to stay for a much needed break, and its five-star rating is well-deserved, indeed, there should be a six-star rating for this lovely place; a real home from home in a delightful setting, with interesting provenance reflected beautifully by the owner.
The Rose Room was large and well-appointed overlooking the beautiful Loch Assynt, and had many home comforts (big fluffy dressing gowns etc), and extra touches on a daily basis provided by the very capable and friendly proprietress, Patricia.
Breakfast was a daily delight with a fabulous selection on offer; we would recommend dining at Ruddyglow each evening as Patricia makes a special effort to use fantastic local produce, and creates a dining experience of an exceptional standard, including an excellent wine list.
The fabulous location in the NW Highlands was truly wonderful during the Autumn, which displayed a kaleidoscope of colours and scenery. Local touring and walking produced breath-taking landscapes unrivaled by anywhere in the world.
We'll definitely be returning and recommending Ruddyglow Park to our most discerning friends, a real gem that we're so lucky to have found.

Fantastic location, so peaceful and enchanting.
We stayed in the lodge and enjoyed the luxury of the surroundings.
Attention to detail from the owner is second to none and those fantastic breakfasts overlooking the Loch will be remembered for many years.

Janet and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Shepherd's Cottage, and we saw a lovely variety of scenery in Sutherland and Caithness - all very beautiful despite the rather cool weather. Your place is ideally located for some stunning day tours, and it's nice to have a comfortable "home base" to come back to.
